Traditional M-Bus solution
In an M-Bus system, a single two-wire bus is used for tasks such as remote reading of electricity, water, heat, and humidity meters, as well as for controlling actuators. Kaksisuuntaisen M-Bus väyläprotokolla sallii yhtä lohkoa kohti jopa 250 laitetta ja useiden kilometrien kaapelivedot. Standardoitu rajapinta mahdollistaa eri valmistajien laitteiden käytön samassa järjestelmässä ilman laitteiden erillisiä tuotekohtaisia tietoja. M-Bus laitteet eivät vaadi erillistä virransyöttöä vaan ne saavat virran väyläkaapelista. Langattomaan wM-Bus verrattuna perinteinen M-Bus on täysin altistumaton ympräistön muuttuville tekijöille.
Hundreds of devices in one system
The 2-way M-Bus field protocol allows up to 250 devices per block and cable runs of several kilometers. A standardized interface enables the use of devices from different manufacturers in the same system without the need for separate product-specific information. M-Bus devices do not require a separate power supply as they draw power from the bus cable. In comparison to wireless wM-Bus, traditional M-Bus is completely immune to environmental variables.
